Seahawks fan for: 20-plus years. “It’s just always been Seahawks for me and my family,” he said. “I was raised a 12 and now I am raising my kids as 12s.”

Occupation: Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Scott is an amphibious assault vehicle crew chief stationed in Camp Pendleton.

Favorite players: Past players, Hall of Fame wide receiver Steve Largent (1976-1989), the first NFL player to catch 100 touchdown passes, a feat Scott calls “awesome”. His present favorite is safety Kam Chancellor “because of the devastating hits.”
Memorable moment: “Above all the success of individual players from 1976 to now, it would have to be winning Super Bowl as a team and as a city.”

Fast facts: Scott’s originally from Sammamish, where he will be “returning for good” later this year. … He has taken his 12th Man flag around the world, including India, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Singapore and Guam.

Quote: On watching last season’s NFC Championship victory from Kuwait and Super Bowl win from the USS Harper’s Ferry in the Persian Gulf at 3 a.m.: “It was at times like these when I was so far away from the Hawks and Seattle that I felt the closest. It is the unique bond that our fan base has with its team and city that made me feel like I was there.”

Prediction: Seahawks 36, Packers 14 – “The Hawks will win this game because they simply have too much defense for a hobbled Aaron Rodgers to deal with. Plus they have an offense with a dangerous QB, a Beast of a running back and under-hyped receivers.”

Last week: 12th Fan of the Week Hillary Carpenter, who lives in Chile,  became the first person to predict the exact score when she picked the Seahawks to win, 31-17. “Can you believe it?” she asked this week in an email. “Not bad, right?”
