Fans leave CenturyLink Field during game, miss miraculous finish

For much of the Seahawks-Packers NFC title game on Sunday, hitting your head against a wall may have seemed more enjoyable than actually watching the game — the offense was grounded, the Legion of Boom was limping and the Packers held a controlling lead. After four Russell Wilson interceptions and with the Packers holding a suffocating 19-7 lead with less than three minutes remaining, the letters were all but written on the Seahawks’ 2014-15 tombstone, or so it seemed.

Staring defeat in the face, some fans apparently filtered out of their seats and into the streets, unaware of what they would miss in the moments to come. Those moments, of course, would soon make up one of the greatest comebacks in NFL playoff history and instantly make up one of the great victories in Seattle sports lore. To the fans that decided to walk away, all you can say is: “Bummer.”
