The sky-high price of tickets to Super Bowl XLIX has been both mystifying and frustrating to fans.

The cheapest tickets listed Saturday afternoon on NFL Ticket Exchange were priced at nearly $7,900.

This fan, who preferred to be identified just as “Randy,” waited outside Saturday’s Seahawks fan rally to see if he could get any tickets for $5,000 apiece.

A passerby quipped, “You’d better put a ‘1’ in front of that.”
