Russell Wilson will be doing more than speaking to Texas Rangers’ players on Monday in Surprise, Arizona. The Rangers have announced that Wilson will be in uniform on Monday, participate in the morning workout – usually batting practice, ground balls, etc. – and be active for the Cactus League game later that day against the Cleveland…More

RUNNING BACK MONTEE BALL On his experience with Seattle Seahawks QB and former University of Wisconsin teammate Russell Wilson “Back when he was with me at Wisconsin, he displayed great qualities of a quarterback and I’m sure he’s doing the same thing over there.” On his memories of the Broncos’ Super Bowl wins “Great. I can just tell you…More
SAFETY MIKE ADAMS On going home to New Jersey for Super Bowl XLVIII “I can’t wait now. We had a good practice today. We did a lot of good things on the field—good game plan that we have. Just ready to roll now.” On how special it feels having played at Passiac Tech High School in New Jersey…More
Broncos head coach John Fox met with the media on Thursday after practice. Fox has always been a coach that won’t speak of certain specifics to the media, and that hasn’t changed. He was complimentary of the Seahawks and quarterback Russell Wilson, noting that the Broncos brought Wilson in before the 2012 draft for a…More
It snowed about two inches last night here in Denver and the temperature dropped to the mid 20s. As you can see above, the Broncos practiced outside today. Does it help them for the possible inclement weather in New York for Super Bowl XLVIII? “We practiced in this and had to play in these types…More
The Broncos’ defense has been overshadowed most of the season, and for good reason. The Broncos have the best offense in the NFL. The Denver defense is okay. It’s not great. But not a complete weakness. During the regular season, it gave up 24.9 points per game (22nd in the NFL), 356 yards of offense per…More
Greetings from sunny and unseasonably warm Denver. The Broncos had some media availability following their 26-16 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday. Head coach John Fox, linebacker Danny Trevathan and tight end Julius Thomas spoke with the media today.
With the Broncos playing the early game, they had no idea who they would play in Super Bowl XLVIII. And most didn’t have a preference.
“Doesn’t matter to me, they are both really good,” Demaryius Thomas said postgame.
But now the Broncos know they’ll be playing the Seahawks. The NFL’s most explosive offense will be facing the NFL’s most intimidating defense.
“I know they’re a great football team,” Fox said. “I think Pete Carroll and his staff have done a terrific job. They’ve been the No. 1 seed all through the NFC for at least the last 6-8 weeks. I know they got after us pretty good when we were out there in the preseason. We haven’t dug into them too in-depth yet, but any time you reach a championship game—the world championship game—I think usually the opponent is pretty good.”More
Richard Sherman was his usual entertaining self on the podium. Always thoughtful, never at a loss for words, the all-pro cornerback had some interesting things to say, particularly about the rivalry with the Niners (video above). “There’s no love lost, there’s no love found,” he said. “That’s how I’d characterize it. It’s going to be intense….More
Pete Carroll said that Percy Harvin will meet with doctors today this afternoon about his recovery from concussion and will not practice today. Linebacker KJ Wright will practice today. “He looked good in walk throughs,” Carroll said. “We’ll see how he looks. But it looks promising. He’s got a chance.” Carroll was very complimentary about the Niners’…More
