I miss the weekend already

What a gorgeous weekend we just left behind. Perfect weather, an appetizer of the great summers in the Pacific Northwest. We set foot on our deck for the first time this year. My daughter and I had a little drawing session. She sketched the trees behind our house and I sketched her while she drew. Here’s her sketch:

My unbiased opinion is that she’s going to be a great artist of course. You just have to watch her hold a pen or a brush. But she’s not even four yet so I don’t want to push her. I want her to enjoy it. That’s what it’s all about. I’ve started putting some of her drawings on a Flickr set. I fear they may get lost. That way we’ll always have the digital file.
