I spent Sunday morning with my sketch group at Gas Works Park. My senses were overwhelmed from the minute I arrived. I’ve only lived in Seattle for three years and I had never come here before. What an impressive location. You have the intricate machinery of the former coal plant, the lake, the skyline with the Space Needle included, boats, float planes, kayakers, you name it. It was hard to decide where to start drawing.
