Cold but pretty, a glimpse of Mount Rainier from the U district

When I describe Seattle to my out-of-town friends I still say that it doesn’t get cold or snow here. I wonder if I need to change my story. It was 28 degrees this morning — according to my iPhone — when I sketched this view from the bus stop at 45th Street and I-5. Regardless, I don’t mind the snow or the low temperatures, especially when they payoff is seeing the beautiful mountains that surround us.
