I had lunch with my family at Totem Family Dining in Everett on Monday. The sign says they’ve been in operation since 1953. Stepping inside was like going back in time a decade or two. I enjoyed the comfy atmosphere, the hearty breakfast and the great view of Mount Baker under clear skies. The restaurant’s totem pole sign adds a lot of personality to this intersection between Evergreen Way and Rucker Avenue.
Flickr user Native2wa has a great set of Retro Washington signs photos.
