Look, the sky!

I thought the U-District would be gridlock this morning because of the closure of the Northeast 45th Street Viaduct, which is undergoing repairs through the summer. But it seemed pretty quiet when I was there this morning. By 9 a.m. just a few cars were backing up at the 15th Avenue NE light as the sun was trying to break through the clouds. I was prepared for another June gloom day, but as I write this I’m happy to report the sun is shining bright outside. Time to get out while it lasts!
