The Seattle Sketcher

An illustrated journal of life in the Puget Sound region by Times artist Gabriel Campanario.

November 10, 2010 at 8:34 AM

Remember the summer?

I’ve put together a little slide show with a few sketches from the summer.
Whether I sat to draw my grill while the steaks were cooking, or stood to sketch sailors on U.S. Navy warships, the images bring back a unique memory of warm days, clear skies — for the most part, and World Cup soccer. Looking back at these moments reminds me that the short days won’t last forever.
Can’t wait till July comes around again!
