As we get close to October, overcast skies become the norm and so does my apprehension about the winter season. Shorter days. Colder days. The raincoat and the fingerless gloves are ready but I’m not looking forward to sketching outdoors in those conditions. Whatever it takes, I’ll do my best to cope with this seasonal affective disorder that Seattle never fails to exacerbate.
