Respuestas a sus preguntas

Spanish for “Answers to your questions.”

Hablando de espanol, haz un “clic” en el sitio Internet de Seattle Times para ver un anuncio con Fredy Montero en la pagina frente.

Translation: Speaking of Spanish, click on the Seattle Times’ Web site to see an ad with Fredy Montero on the front page. PS, if you scroll down you see the ad with Freddie Ljungberg, the one seen on billboards around town.

OK, I’ll take my best shot here with these responses.

Sounders1 asks: “Any idea when (Taylor) Graham injured his foot? How long has he been playing on it?”

Answer: In looking back over some previous game reports, it seems to me that Graham got hurt in the Shandong Luneng exhibition game at Ventura College on Feb. 10. At that point it was called a deep bruise, but Graham continued to practice and play even afterward. Having only seen two games, I didn’t see Graham get hurt last Friday ay Portland, so he could have aggravated the foot problem Sunday vs. Vancouver.

Matt from Issaquah aka Soonerman asks: “When Single game tickets go on sale will that include Chelsea, or will those be sold at a seprate date?

Answer: Single-game ticket sales that begin Monday DO NOT include the Chelsea game. If you buy season tickets you get the Chelsea game included, as of now. Individual Chelsea tickets will be put on sale at a later date to be determined. Keep checking the blog!

RonEdmonds asks: Can anybody provide some clarity on the status of trialist defender Mandou Bojang?

Answer: I’ll give you the verbage the team gave me on Bojang: “He and [Lamar] Neagle could potentially train with the team when they return [from Argentina].”

soccerfan1983 wants to know the following: How do you think the roster will look on the 19th?

Answer: Assuming the team doesn’t add more players, it could look like this:

Goalkeepers – Keller, Eylander

Defenders – Ianni, Wahl, Riley, Sturgis, Marshall, Brown, Graham, Karkas, Hurtado.

Midfielders – Evans, Vagenas, Ljungberg, Alonso, Le Toux, King, Nyassi, Fucito.

Forwards – Zakuani, Smith, Jaqua, Montero and either Clark or Levesque.

Keep in mind that Graham, Ljungberg and Vagenas are possible candidates for the disabled list, so they could miss the first six games and Seattle could sign a replacement for one or all of them if it has the salary-cap flexibility.
