Sounders FC in rave green

No road blues for Seattle today. They busted out the green. Time for O Canada…Scarves up for everyone in the crowd and passionate singing. Now Sounders FC takes their pregame team photo, and here we go…

Smoke coming from behind Keller, who starts in the south end where all the crazies are.

Pregame Sounders FC huddle-

14:05 — Ljungberg dribbles unimpeded through the middle and into the box, dumps it off to his right to Brad Evans (could have been Le Toux), who sends it back to Ljungberg for the one-on-one shot and GOAL. Looks like Sounders FC isn’t missing Montero, at least for now. 1-0 SSFC.

29th minute: We’ve got some tussling down there. Dwayne De Rosario just pushed Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, and Hurtado went after De Ro. Yellow card for Hurtado. TFC has has a couple of scoring chances but been thwarted.

40th minute: TFC shot by De Rosario after good ball played in by Wynne, but SSFC defender gets there to break up the timing and ball is shot wide.

44th min. – Yellow card to Jim Brennan of TFC for pushing Ljungberg in the back. Pretty physical game and officials are letting them play for the most part. This crowd is all over the officials

44:18 — Zakuani knocks in the rebound when Jaqua’s shot is blocked. GOAL! Fans are stunned and cussing up a storm. They just showed on the big screen here a Sounders FC fan in the suites holding up an SSFC scarf. 2-0 Seattle, halftime.

SECOND HALF: Officials have changed the first goal assist to Jaqua, not Le Toux. Did I totally miss that? Let me know…

51st min: Yellow card for Sam Cronin of TFC.

55th min: Danny Dichio in for TFC. Toronto writers tell me Dichio scored the first goal in team history, and is therefore a fan favorite.

Jaqua just rode Harmse down like a bull roper but no foul or card issued. Harmse is shaken up for a bit. TFC is really frustrated with the officiating, so are the fans.

60th min. – Yellow card to James Riley of Seattle, his first of the season.

65th min. – Marshall went into the corner and got a bunch of streamers and a roll of toilet paper thrown at him.

78th — GREAT save by Keller as he bats away a shot by Pablo Vitti. Now Sanna Nyassi is in for Ljungberg, and Nathan Sturgis in for Zakuani in 79th min.

73rd min. — After Seattle almost gives one up on one end, Ljungberg goes down hard and is clutching his left knee. He gets up and limps around, and he’s now coming off with a little help. Nate Sturgis is getting set to sub in.

87th — Yellow card for Zach Scott for coming across hard on De Ro. Free kick for TFC. Missed wide.

90th min — 3 minutes of stoppage time.

END GAME: Sounders 2, TFC 0. Only the diehards remained in the stadium at the end. And some of them booed.
