The Qwest Field capacity issue for Sounders FC games

It seems like a hot-button issue with many of you, so as per a request, I asked for a comment from general manager/minority owner Adrian Hanauer on the matter of increasing the capacity, or not.

Hanauer said this:

“We will weigh our estimated supply and demand, we will consider revenue opportunity, we will consider how this might affect season ticket renewals for next season.

There are probably several other factors that different departments within our organization will want to discuss. I would assume that in the very near future… we will have a conversation about this internally.

So there you have it. The issue is on the minds of team executives…you are being heard.

Still looking for tickets? Christian Anderson of FanSnap.com wrote in to share his company’s search engine for tickets. “We show hundreds of tickets to upcoming Sounders FC games. Tickets start at roughly $50,” he said.
