More from today’s reserve game

-Midfielder Stephen King did not play as he continues to recover from a strained groin. He said he feels much better and expects to practice this week. He was limited to running on the side last week.

-Midfielder Brad Evans was asked about his appearance on CosmoGirl.com, as one of the 15 “best-looking young players in MLS.” Evans said it was “pretty embarrassing,” and that he hopes “it doesn’t get out too much.” Asked if teammates give him a hard time, Evans only said that they all know about it and that he’s received a lot of text messages.

-Kevin Calabro, the team’s play-by-play voice, will not work Saturday’s match because of NBA playoff game commitments and the risk of his travel plans back to Seattle not working out, so Glenn Davis (that’s with two “n’s”) , who has worked Houston Dynamo games as a co-analyst and called the action for NBC at the 2008 Olympics, is coming into town to fill in for Calabro. Read about Davis on his wikipedia page.
