Coach Sigi Schmid said he hated to drag us (myself and another reporter and team staff) out on a Sunday. But no problem here, it was kind of nice.
Sounders FC practiced at Starfire while youth games were being played nearby, and that gave a lot of fans young and older the opportunity to watch the team through fences and seek autographs and photos.
