Ljungberg back, Sounders FC wins coin flip

Freddie Ljungberg returned to the team for practice Friday and is expected to be on the trip with the team to Chicago, so that means the starting lineup probably won’t change from last week.

Seattle has won the coin flip with the Colorado Rapids to host a second-round play-in bracket game for the U.S. Open Cup tournament. The game will be at Starfire Stadium again and the team will release ticket information next week. Date of game yet to be determined. Didn’t seem to make much sense that Sounders FC go to the Denver area twice in one month to play matches, as the team has a game there May 23.

And I am off to Chicago. I’m at my gate as i write this. Does anyone else hate it when your name is on a security-watch list and you can’t check in online? Can’t complain too much though. Should be good enough weather over there.
