Let the lower deck tarps at Qwest come off

Seems like that is the case, or definitely is very soon to be. DISCLAIMER: Nothing official yet, but I would call team ticket sales people to be sure.

A reader (he knows who he is) was kind enough to send me a link to the Sounders FC “Partial Season Ticket” page and sections 116 to 128, located in the south end zone (Brougham End) in the upper part of the lower bowl and currently covered with green tarp, are apparently to be opened up for partial season ticket package sales if not already.

Here is your chance, people who have clamored for more seating. Of course I don’t have anything official but when I do, you know you will find it here.

Personally, this is the right move. I’m sure those tickets will go fast. PS — the “second half pack” advertised on the page includes tickets to Chelsea and Barcelona, nine games for $240.

One more thing, tickets are NOW ON SALE for U.S. Open Cup game at Starfire May 26 v. Colorado.
