Ljungberg has had bad migraines since puberty, he says

The Sounders FC midfielder said he must avoid cheese and red wine. He said a migraine for him is more than a headache.

“I can’t see, and I lose the feeling on half my body,” he said.

Scary. He said he has a hard time opening a door with a key because he goes numb, and he needs a dark room in which to rest and only time to recover.

“As long as my head is fine on Saturday, I’ll be fine to play,” Ljungberg said. He feels his fitness won’t be affected much after 10 days out.

Nice explanation of the Mississippi Brilla name from Dave, and I may have spoken too soon about Dragavon playing although he practiced today. Thanks to viennacoup for calling me out on that.
