Location: Qwest Field – Xbox Pitch, Seattle, WA
10:30 AM – Gates open for charity matches
11:00 AM – Boeing vs. Microsoft
1:00 PM – Starbucks vs. Expedia
4:00 PM – All charity match attendees and players exit Qwest Field

Cost: Suggested $5 charitable donation collected at the gates by Ronald McDonald House Charities volunteers. All players and attendees must exit the stadium by 4pm and may re-enter only with a paid ticket to the evening’s Sounders FC vs. San Jose Earthquakes match.
Reason: The Puget Sound Corporate Soccer Challenge brings seminal Pacific Northwest corporations together on the field for a day of soccer and corporate networking, all while raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Western Washington & Alaska.
History: The Boeing vs. Microsoft pre-Sounders matches started in 1997 and throughout the years have been played in Renton, Seattle’s Memorial Stadium, Starfire Stadium and Qwest Field. In 2008 the Puget Sound Corporate Soccer Challenge formalized to expand the scope of the event to include more Northwest corporations and make it a philanthropic effort.

Also, there is a pre-match party and fundraiser at Highway 99 Blues Club, 1414 Alaskan Way in Seattle, on June 11 starting at 5:30 p.m.
The following is from the event’s Facebook page:
Participating players, spouses and corporate VIPs will gather for an evening with the event and the mighty “Sonic Funk Orchestra” and the “SFO Horns” as they tear the roof off with their brand of “70’s Funk and Disco” and Tony Ventrella from SoundersFC.com will emcee.
In addition, some of (the) Sounders FC players will be in attendance to mingle with fans, sign autographs and take photos.
Also, there will be an unbelievable silent auction and raffle items and dancing will leave you in the mood for soccer. All proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.”
