Also some quotes from Sigi Schmid:

On Michael Fucito training) “We are looking at him. We have to be fair in our judgment as well because it’s tough to come in at midseason, where a team is already in midseason form, midseason fitness, and you’re now just starting off. So that was one reason for him, the one exercise we did today, I pulled him out a little bit, and then let him come back into the exercise. It does me no good to push him so hard that he just cramps up and can’t move and can’t do things. We can’t evaluate him, so trying to do that. He scored a nice goal with the goals in tight. So we’re trying to evaluate on what he does when he’s in fresh stages of practice.”

On team chemistry) “I think our team chemistry is good. I think our locker room is good. I think the guys get along with each other, and everybody has a good healthy respect for each other, and everybody I think can joke and have fun with each other. So that attitude is good. Sometimes I want our guys to be a little more demanding of each other. Sometimes we’re too nice. So it’s a matter of making sure that we demand from each other in a very positive manner. I think we’re getting to that point. It’s almost like sometimes when you put a new team together everybody wants to be on such good terms with another that sometimes you don’t demand enough from each other. I feel very good about our locker room. I feel very good about the attitude that exists around this team.”
