How the Sounders FC will handle the U.S.-Brazil match

So as most of you know, the Sounders FC match with Colorado begins Sunday at 1 p.m., which should be right about minute 75 of the U.S. match with Brazil in the Confederations Cup final.

The Sounders FC could not reschedule the match on three days notice, so this is how it plans to deal with the conflicting matches:

The team will air the first half live on the Qwest Field Jumbotron for any fans to watch in the stands. It will then go into a complete blackout on the U.S. match — no video or even scoring updates — until the Sounders FC match has ended. Once its match is over, the Sounders FC will air the second half of the U.S. match on the Jumbotron for anyone who would like to remain in their seats and watch it.
