Today’s headlines

Some interesting topics out there in the world of soccer. I happened to catch the tail end of the Mexico-Panama match and what an ugly fiasco that was as the game was delayed for at least 10 minutes because of reaction to a play in which a Panamanian player and Mexico’s coach ignited a benches-clearing dustup.
I will always be a fan of El Tri but from the stuff I read about the fans throwing stuff and getting into fights, not cool. Never is. Calmanse mi gente por favor!
How cool was the Mariners game last night, BTW? Loved Felix’s fist-pumping and bear hug in the dugout when Gutierrez crushed the HR in the 8th.
But I digress.
Tyrone Marshall returns to his college alma mater, from the Miami Herald.
-The Arizona Republic writes about Brad Evans, a local boy from Phoenix.
-The Mexico-Panama affair from my Chicano younger brother Ivan Orozco (Orale carnal!)
-Freddy Adu, who scored a goal at Qwest last week, has left USMNT to join Benfica in Europe, Miami Herald.
