Marshall said he expects to play Sunday vs. San Jose. He was glad to get a break of sorts, missing the Chicago game after playing all of the Chelsea and U.S. Open Cup matches. That coming after his time with Jamaica in the Gold Cup.
“I think Sigi was just looking out for the best interests of myself and the team to make sure that when I’m on the pitch I’m at 100 percent and not half-capacity, because at the end of the day we want to win…that shows that’s he’s looking out for the players as well,” Marshall said.
No San Jose trip for me this weekend. I’ll be watching on TV with you.
