Wrapping it up from the Homes Depot Center

That’s what George Lopez calls it. It’s kind of a Chicano context thing.
OK, so….what a night here. Houston drew and is at 39. Seattle wins -32. Galaxy loses – 31. Colorado did not play – 30. Chivas USA wins — 30. Real Salt Lake draws – 27.
Let’s do the card situation. Tyrone Marshall will miss the next game (vs. New England Thursday). Montero now has 4 yellows, one away from a suspension.
Ljungberg will be re-evaluated by team medical staff tomorrow.
Keller was great tonight with three big saves.
Bruce Arena: “Not a good night tonight. Didn’t deserve any more than we got.”
Very nice show of support from the Sounders FC fans who came out strong.
After the game, someone yelled, “You suck, Riley!” as James Riley walked toward the locker room. Riley didn’t even flinch. You just know that after what went down in the last Galaxy game with him getting a red, he was happy to draw one on L.A.and happier to leave with a win.
Schmid on coming home to SoCal and winning: “It’s always different coaching against the Galaxy just because I used to be here.”
On it being graitfying to win here: “Always.”
On his players being concerned with getting swine flu from Donovan: “That’s out of our hands. Somebody else decides that, obviously, they don’t feel that he’s infectious. I don’t know the last time he had a fever. That’s really out of my control. Hopefully none of our players will get sick.”
