More from Sounders FC practice today

My sense just from talking to people around the team is that Freddie Ljungberg is fine, that there is no real cause for concern but that he does have very strict routines and regimens that he follows as far as diet and workouts and that perhaps those were thrown off, leading to his symptoms.
So we just wait and see how his test results come out.
Today, Sigi Schmid said it was bit strange for the team to get back on turf (practice was at Qwest) since the team has been playing and training on grass for the past few weeks.
Schmid had no problem with the new sod laid down at the Home Depot Center. He said the grass was OK. “It wasn’t ideal but I think the grounds crew down there did a good job.”
