Did Kasey Keller perform a Jedi mind trick on Guille Barros Schelotto?

I shake the magic 8-ball, and it says: “All signs point to yes.”
See, Keller and Sounders FC coach Tom Dutra had watched film of Schelotto and other top scorers in the league when they do PKs. He learned Schelotto’s tendencies, and when Keller made a slight move in the net just as Schelotto was ready to strike, Schelotto had to change his mind where to shoot. Hence the indecision and the miss.
If you think that Sigi Schmid’s intrinsic knowledge of his old team and how players operate wasn’t a factor tonight, think again.
“We know that Guille likes to go down the middle when he can, and we said ‘Just hold your ground, hold your ground’ and forced him into making a decision.”
Schelotto had made 8 PKs in a row up until tonight.
“I kind of outthought him a little bit, and sometimes that works,” Keller said. “When a guy’s waiting for you to move and you don’t move, then he has to change his mind at the last second. I’ve been able to have that happen before.”
