Watching Sounders FC practice, and listening to some 80s music

That was the backdrop this morning after the team did field work outside, then when the rain began falling, everyone moved inside Starfire for weight training on the turf pitches where indoor soccer is played.
Starfire pipes in satellite radio, so the team was doing its pushups, medicine ball work, etc., with J. Geils Band, Berlin and Huey Lewis and the News playing in the background. At one point when Sigi Schmid was talking to reporters, we were serenaded by this:

This and “Animal” are Leppard’s best songs ever in my humble opinion. Incidentally, Sigi likes Steely Dan, Jethro Tull, Traffic and AC/DC. Steely Dan would be a sweet concert, I understand they are in town this week.
Anyway, Leo Gonzalez has rejoined the team, I guess Costa Rica figured it wasn’t going to need him tomorrow against the U.S. although it’s clear to me that Leo can hang with anybody.
Here are some photos (sorry they are dark, bad lighting in this place during practice) of what the guys were doing.

Clarification: I DO think there is something at stake for U.S. and Mexico, even if it neither is seeded in World Cup play. By “seed” I mean finishing first or second in the group, and I would think that each team wants badly to win the group. This is about pride for these teams, in my opinion. So by seed, I refer to final place in the standings.
