Advancing Sounders FC-Wizards

I got the sense this week that some of the players really want payback for the way in which the Wizards won at Qwest a looooong time ago, earlier this season. If you recall, Kasey Keller was red-carded and still Sounders FC was the more attacking team with 10 men, but lost 1-0. Of course Sounders FC scored a big win during the U.S. Open Cup at Starfire over the Wizards in July.
KC has since fired Curt Onalfo as head coach and hired Peter Vermes.
Anyway, here is the story I wrote to advance the game.
Osvaldo Alonso, James RIley and Tyrone Marshall are a yellow card away from suspension next week.
Seattle is 3-1-1 in its past five road games.
Couple of more things….thanks to the reader who commented with the audio link from the Honduras match, that was really cool to listen to. The emotion in their voices….wow. And “ciscokid,” try Gates BBQ and Jack Stack’s in KC (I have heard about that place too) and share a review! Thanks.
