This job covering soccer can be so delicious…
We all like food right? Well earlier today I got to sample some of the offerings made especially by Levy Restaurants chefs — from the company that provides the food service to Qwest Field — to be available for fans Sunday at the MLS Cup.
Thanks so much to Levy’s director of sales for Qwest Field, Katherine Lachman; executive chef Jon Severson and sous chef Nick Walsh.
There was a lot to sample and all I did was take a couple of bites, but check these out:
My favorite thing to eat at any sports event, a soft pretzel. Only this one is GIANT. It’s called the Victory Knot.

This is the Seafood Shocker. It’s a fish sandwich topped with red cabbage. It’s HUGE. Available only in club level.

This is, in honor of the L.A. Galaxy, a “Galaxy Dog.” Two strips of applewood smoked bacon, nacho cheese sauce, red onion, diced tomatoes.

The Salt Lake Burger, in honor of Real Salt Lake. Smoked bacon, blue cheese, black cherry bbq sauce.

Galaxy Pizza. Veggies and cheese.
