Sounders FC news update: Delgado not signing

Not now anyway. That’s what I’m told – that Dario Delgado, the defender from Costa Rica rumored to be on his way to Seattle and Sounders FC, will not be coming here.
Yakir Lusky, the midfielder from Israel, will get a trial with the club, it’s been confirmed, and will join the team in Phoenix in February. And former Gonzaga forward Tye Perdido will be in camp with the team Monday. His Bulldogs bio is here (or are they the Zags now?).
Here’s mynews story for Saturday’s paper:
GM Adrian Hanauer on Lusky: “He was recommended by an agent we know. It’s a longshot for him to have significant impact.”
Hanauer on Perdido: “Perdido was at our combine in Las Vegas. He’s a big strong forward who makes good runs. You never know.”
The club doesn’t appear finished making roster moves. There could be more new players in Phoenix and also European or African players in Spain when the team goes there for a tournament later in the preseason.
