Stop and chat with Mike Fucito

I caught up with Sounders FC speedster Mike Fucito after he scored a goal in a 4-0 reserve win against Seattle U. Didn’t have time to get into an in-depth conversation, but I’ve tried to get all the extra material I can on the blog.
That way the players don’t feel like they’re talking for nothing and the fans get all the content they can handle.
Here’s the one extra quote I gathered.

Q: You have played a couple different positions in training. Where do you feel most comfortable out there?
A: Yeah, I’ve been splitting time between left mid and up front, but I’d say I’ve been up front more in the recent weeks. I like playing up there and making runs over the top, you know getting in behind the defense. I can do that on the left side too. But wherever they see me best as being able to help the team is where I feel the most comfortable. I just like being on the field.

Jose did this story on Fucito earlier in training camp. I’ll have another guess at Seattle’s final roster up sometime soon, but what do you think of Fucito? Keep in mind, Miguel Montano will be in the mix this week too…
