Kitsap Pumas To Host Gonzaga on April 10 (team release)

Kitsap Pumas To Host Gonzaga University On Bainbridge Island, April 10
Bremerton, Wash. – The Kitsap Pumas today announced that the club’s second 2010 pre-season friendly will be played Saturday April 10 vs. Gonzaga University at the Bainbridge Island high school stadium. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
Tickets for the match will go on sale this Friday via the Brown Paper Tickets’ website. Prices will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids (ages 4-12).
Current season-ticket holders will be granted admission as part of their 2010 packages.


“We’re looking very much forward to playing a match on Bainbridge,” said assistant coach James Ritchie, who also spent over a year coaching youth on the island prior to taking his assistant coach’s role with the club. “There are some wonderful kids and families there and we all hope they come out and support the Pumas.”
The club kicks off its full pre-season schedule April 3 with a match against the USL D1 Portland Timbers. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. at Bremerton Memorial Stadium. This same Timbers squad, recently defeated the MLS Seattle Sounders 1-nil at Seattle’s Qwest Field.
The night prior – on April 2 – the clubs will jointly host the first-ever Kitsap Coaches’ Symposium at the Olympic Indoor Soccer Center in Bremerton from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. This event is open to all coaches and players of all levels, of all sports and will be led by the coaches and specialists for both teams. Cost is only $15 on-line or at the door.
All types of tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the gate on game day. 2010 Season Ticket holders are admitted to pre-season matches as part of their existing package.
