JHON KENNEDY HURTADO
(On how things are easier, more comfortable in second year)
“Things are going really well. I’m really happy. It’s my second year here, I know the city, I know the team, so things are going well.”
(On the difficulty of your opponent’s knowing who you are)
“Yes, of course. All the teams watch tape before the game, so they know how I play and how I defend. So it’s definitely more difficult because of that. But we also know that every team and every game is different.”
(On team’s offensive struggles)
“Unfortunately we weren’t able to score in the last game but we know we have great players on offense that have the ability to score. It didn’t happen last time but we believe in our players and our team.”

(On defending countrymate Juan Pablo Angel)
“I watched him play in Colombia and watched him play in England, so I knew what it would be like. It was a great opportunity.”
OSVALDO ALONSO
(On team’s offensive struggles)
“We always have to work hard on defense to support our offensive players. We all work together.”
(On the difficulty of your opponent’s knowing who you are)
“They have a lot of references on who I am because I’ve already been playing here for a year in MLS.”
(On mentality going on the road)
“Every time we take the field, we play to win. It doesn’t matter if it’s here in Seattle or somewhere else.”
(Being an unheralded star on the team)
“I do my work. I complete my obligations for the team. That’s my role, so that’s what I do.”
