Sounders partner PEMCO Insurance has a contest that could send you to the Houston Dynamo away game (release)

PEMCO Insurance and the Sounders FC pair up for a second season

SEATTLE – PEMCO Insurance is proud to announce it is partnering with the Seattle Sounders FC for a second consecutive season, during which the organizations will showcase Northwest soccer fans’ passion for the Seattle football club through events, activities, and a season-long contest.

“We’re pleased to team up with the Sounders again this year,” said PEMCO spokesperson Jon Osterberg. “We want to meet passionate ‘I Know I Am, I’m Sure I Am Sounders FC Fans’ of all ages this year at the PEMCO booth at Qwest Field and through a fan contest we’ve just launched.”

This season, PEMCO invites all fans to show their overly fanatical Sounders FC fervor for a chance to win a trip for two to the Sounders’ last regular-season match against the Houston Dynamo. Those who visit www.werealotlikeyou.com/ can learn more about the contest and how to submit a photo or video entry demonstrating their fanatical or zealous Sounders fervor. In return, every entry will earn a discount to the team store, a chance to be featured as a weekly winner on Sounder Vision at Qwest Field, and a shot at the grand prize, an all-expense paid trip for two to Houston.

All fans who visit www.werealotlikeyou.com/ can cast a vote for their favorite video and photo entries throughout the contest. Before each home match, votes will be tallied and two weekly winners will enjoy Sounder Vision fame at Qwest Field during that week’s match. Near the end of the regular season, all weekly winners will qualify for the grand prize trip to Houston, with the runner-up taking home four club-seat tickets to the Oct. 15 match against Chivas USA.

In addition to the fan contest, PEMCO’s mobile booth and its team of brand ambassadors also will attend every home match, where fans who stop by the PEMCO booth can have their pictures taken for free and walk away with their souvenir photo ID attached to a lanyard.

PEMCO’s “‘I Know I Am, I’m Sure I Am’ Sounders FC Fan” Northwest Profile is just one of many recognizable depictions of Northwest people that make up PEMCO’s “We’re A Lot Like You. A Little Different.” ad campaign.
