A stop and chat with the injured Osvaldo Alonso — Q&A

OSVALDO ALONSO, midfielder — via translator

(On how he feels) “Not so good. My leg hurts.”

(What happened last night?) “It’s the same injury that happened in the Galaxy game.”

(Did you feel good going into the game?) “I felt good yesterday, and it was later on that it started hurting again.”

(On the plan going in) “I was planning on playing about 45 minutes of the game yesterday, so I was really sad when I had to come out.”

(Was there contact? Or did it go out on its own?) “There was contact that happened that made it hurt more.”

(On frustration level having it come back?) “It’s really frustrating because I was recuperating for two weeks and now it’s kind of like back to start again, another two weeks of recuperation.”

(On the team surviving without you and Hurtado) “The team is able. They’ve got other great players that can play for us. The team will be OK, there are a lot of good guys out there.”
