Sounders FC announce ticket information for CCL match

Sounders FC technical director Chris Henderson intimated last week in a live chat through the Times that ticket information would be available soon for the preliminary round of the CCL with El Salvador’s Metapan.

Sounders FC Announce Ticket Information for CONCACAF Match

RENTON, Wash. – The Sounders FC announced tickets will go on sale to the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League preliminary round on Monday, June 21 at 10 a.m. The Sounders FC will host Metapan of El Salvador on Wednesday, July 28 at Qwest Field. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.

On August 3, the Sounders FC will travel to El Salvador to play Metapan for the second leg of the series.

Based on aggregate scoring, the winner will advance to the Group Stage on August 17-19.

The top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout quarterfinals, set for February and March of 2011. CONCACAF Champions League winner will advance to FIFA Club World Cup.
