Seattle ranked 2nd in goUSAbid.com petition signatures

I had this information forwarded to me the other day. Thought some of you might be interested.

* * *

— More than 490,000 people have signed the petition to bring the World Cup to the U.S. at goUSAbid.com.

— The “Support Your City” section on goUSAbid.com features city-specific pages for each host city, and allows supporters to sign the petition for their city. This site provides an extension for the host cities to work with the USA Bid Committee on the development and promotion of their local and national campaigns.

— Currently, the 10 host cities leading the race for petition signatures are:

1. Houston 33,547

2. Seattle 30,802

3. Miami 28,231

4. Atlanta 27,009

5. Philadelphia 24,163

6. Tampa Bay 23,746

7. Kansas City 20,765

8. New York 20,280
