Seattle Sounders FC v. Isidrio Metapan, pregame notes

UPDATE (6:15 p.m.) — Sounders FC rookie midfielder Michael Seamon jogged out of the tunnel with bright yellow shorts and socks on. Looks like Seattle will be wearing ‘Electricity’!

The tarps are back in the south end of the stadium as a smaller-than-usual crowd is expected for this one. The ticket update I got was 13,000 on Monday, recently I’ve heard whispers of 15K, so we’ll see what we get.

Not sure what to expect in terms of a lineup today. Steve Zakuani intimated the team would have to use its depth today, but everyone has stressed the importance of this tournament, so we’ll see what Sigi Schmid goes with.

That 4-1 win by Puerto Rico over Los Angeles might have woken up MLS teams to the type of competition they’ll face in CCL.

I’ll post lineups here when they become available.

What are you expecting in this one? Are you excited for CCL or still unsure/undecided?
