Cameras were limited to the final minutes of practice today, fortunately a group of the guys saved some of the best for last. Monday was a regeneration day for Saturday night’s starters and they just did some light work on the side and some weight training.

The reserves did some fitness work, passing drills, small-side scrimmaging on a short field and other familiar stuff. Fredy Montero, who talked to reporters with a huge icepack on his right leg, said he’ll be good to go Thursday. Steve Zakuani appears to still be limited by a pelvic strain and is working to get back.

A group of four (Osvaldo Alonso, Leo Gonzalez, Jeff Parke and Blaise Nkufo) made the most out of the time in the sun by playing some soccer volleyball/tennis. I caught some of the action below:
