Make-A-Wish Child turned Superhero to receive Golden Scarf
WHO: Erik Martin, a Bellevue boy with cancer secretly known as “Electron Boy”.
WHAT: Electron Boy will receive the Sounders FC “Golden Scarf” prior to the first kick of the Sounders FC vs. Chicago Fire match on Saturday, August 28.

HOW: The Sounders FC Alliance members voted to recognize Electron Boy for his heroics to save the Sounders FC team from Dr. Dark on Thursday, April 29.
WHY: The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho and Washington grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since its inception in 1986, the chapter has granted more than 4,250 wishes to children in the Northwest and will grant 337 wishes this year alone.
