Looks like there might be a little competition for the backup goalkeeping jobs as Sounders FC selected UConn’s Josh Ford with its top pick (No. 11 overall) in the MLS Supplemental Draft this afternoon.

In the second round, Seattle selected defender Corey Attaway from UC-Irvine with the 29th overall pick.
With its final pick at No. 47, Sounders FC took midfielder Sean Morris from nearby Seattle U. A Bothell native, Morris went to Bishop Blanchet High School.
As a local note, the Portland Timbers took Washington defender Taylor Mueller with the 38th pick. Mueller is from Sammamish and played at Eastlake High School.
