Sounders FC’s first practice at Starfire on Tues. — photo reel

The 2011 season is here! And boy were there a lot of people at training today. A lot of media folk. A lot of Sounders — senior guys, rookies and invitees. We’ll see who sticks around.

I’ll have a quick post on what I saw in training later: e.g. who impressed, who was playing where, who wasn’t around, etc.

Also, I’ll have some quotes up later as well. For now let’s get to some pictures.

* * *

1. Here are a couple veterans strolling in. Rookie Leone Cruz with the water jug.

2. A Colombian duo that you surely know well by now.

3. Here’s an idea of how many guys were out there. About 40, I’d say.

4. Getting a good stretch in.

6. Here were the four goalkeepers working. From left: Boss, Ford, Keller, Meredith.

8. Here are the rookie GKs in action, Meredith (L) challenges Ford in the air.

9. Some of the news guys here. You all know Levesque on the left. Carrasco also in blue but I can’t tell the other guy. In orange you see, from the left, Tetteh, Friberg and Cruz.
