Here’s a summary of Sounders FC training Wednesday based on a report from the team:

— Weather conditions were unexpectedly cold with a biting wind and temperatures in the mid-30s.

— After some warm-up drills the team mainly did some 11v11 work, but as opposed to last Friday, the groups were mixed up (instead of having a first team, second team, etc.). Apparently things got a little chippy at one point between Jeff Parke and Kerry Baptiste. Fredy Montero and Tyson Wahl also “clashed several times” according to the team report.

Zach Scott and Montero (pictured) each recorded goals in one game. David Estrada also scored later on, which the report called “perhaps the most impressive goal of the day.”

— The team got the afternoon off after having two-a-days Monday and Tuesday.

Taylor Graham and Pat Noonan each trained to the side again.

— Lastly, the team has scheduled another training game, this one against Vancouver on Friday at 3 p.m.
