Two Kings, a first-person look at Sounders tryouts and more
I didn’t prepare much in terms of an intro, just collected a mess o’ links:
— Here’s a story on ex-Sounder Stephen King‘s quest to find playing time amid a crowded D.C. United midfield. Also, here’s a picture of leading NFL writer Peter King in some Sounders FC gear.
— A local blogger chronicled the journey that was last weekend’s open tryouts.
— Here are the latest FIFA world rankings, some club team rankings (international) and then some offseason grades (MLS).
— Think the Ticketmaster situation was bad Tuesday? Here’s a worse one.
— In closing, the UW men’s soccer program signed a pair on NLI day and one is from the Sounders FC academy. Also the Houston Dynamo got the green light to start building a new stadium and here’s a duo of unfortunate misses over in Europe.
