Front office members step forward in Wednesday’s training

— Sounds like Brad Evans, Taylor Graham and Pat Noonan all participated to some degree. In case you missed it earlier, Mike Seamon is in Seattle to get a lower body injury looked at. Blaise Nkufo worked on the side and, according to the team website, invitee Jonathan Prieto didn’t participate in full either.

— Majority owner Joe Roth was in attendance for the evening session. GM Adrian Hanauer and technical director Chris Henderson suited up and kicked the ball around a bit in the morning.

Steve Zakuani celebrated his 23rd birthday Wednesday.

— Sounders FC plays Columbus in a training game Thursday at 10 a.m. PT in Phoenix. It’s at the Westside Soccer Complex and open to the paying public.
