Here are some highlights from the team report:

— Sunday marked the second day of training in Florida where the team had a “double day” as they call it. Others might know it better as a two-a-day, with sessions in the morning and afternoon, but despite the schedule it sounded like a somewhat light day.

— In the morning session, the Colombian pair of Miguel Montano and Fredy Montero each scored goals in a 9v9 scrimmage. Among those involved in the buildup were right back Roger Levesque (it appears that experiment is still ongoing) and invitee midfielder Jonathan Prieto.

— Several players took the afternoon session off to rest up for two days of training games. Seattle takes on Dallas at 12:30 p.m. PT Monday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

— On the injury front, forward Nate Jaqua warmed up with the team but trained mostly to the side. Midfielder Erik Friberg (who suffered a slight groin injury last week at Starfire) did the same.
