He’s back!

“Finally!” most are saying.

Whatever the reason for training in England, the wait is over. David Beckham rejoined L.A. Galaxy training Thursday and fielded a variety of questions (children on the way? royal weddings?).

We’ll see how much the chemistry is really affected, but as Landon Donovan told Soccer America, the team is surely used to him coming and going by now.

Onto the links, first of the local variety:

Here’s an interview with Sounders FC fitness coach Dave Tenney if you’re interested in that field. Also, I’m pretty sure you can catch glimpses of the unnamed trialist from the UCF match in the team’s video recap (I’m guessing he’s the long-haired guy, think Hernan Crespo follicly, that breaks the huddle on the left after Matt Gaschk‘s intro. There are other clips of that guy, who is unfamiliar to me if that means anything, making crosses and passes. I also think that’s him in the photo in the post below). Anyways… more after the jump.

— Vancouver is up to about 15,500 in season-ticket sales and is hoping to cap ’em at 16,500. Not bad at all. Last updates from Portland were 11,000 sold with a cap at 12,000.

— I saw a couple profiles on Houston rookie Kofi Sarkodie on the web yesterday, so be sure to read up on another of Steve Zakuani‘s former Akron teammates if you’re interested.

Not a bad goal for New York’s John Rooney the other day in training.

— Hull City is apparently going to let forward Caleb Folan leave and join MLS. The English club is also considering extending the Brad Guzan loan.

— Elsewhere internationally, here’s a Europa League roundup from Thursday, USMNT’s Maurice Edu scored another important goal for Rangers and Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out of the Carling Cup final.
