Here are some notes from the team report:

— Sounders FC held its last training session of the Florida trip Friday morning. Tonight the team will head to Tampa to watch some hockey, where the Lightning plays the New Jersey Devils. Tod Leiweke, Seattle’s ex-CEO/president, is now a part owner of the NHL team.

— Seattle last activity in the Sunshine State will be a training game against the Chicago Fire at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bradenton, Fla.

Fredy Montero, Blaise Nkufo (pictured) and Alvaro Fernandez obviously read my tweet from late last night and were noted as scoring a series of goals in a scrimmage. Steve Zakuani added a highlight-reel strike later on.

— A lot of the guys who played big minutes in Thursday’s training game v. UCF got a regeneration day. Defender Danny Earls was still out with an injury, and O’Brian White and Mike Seamon each trained lightly on the side.

— Be sure to check out this video from the team website. Coach Sigi Schmid was mic’d up for the game yesterday.
