In the community: Tacoma Tide FC having open tryouts

Local PDL club Tacoma Tide FC is hosting open tryouts on April 2-3 at the Stadium Bowl. If you’re interested register online. Tryouts start at 10 a.m. and run through noon; you’ll need to pay $25.

  • Some Sounders FC players will guest bartend at the Paragon on March 29th at 6 p.m. to help benefit America SCORES Seattle. There will some drink specials and a prize drawing with signed Sounders balls, t-shirts and more.
  • Kitsap Pumas coach Pete Fewing, who also does some TV/radio work for Sounders FC, will be the keynote speaker at Special Olympics Washington’s 17th Annual Breakfast with Champions. The event is on March 23 at the Washington State Convention Center.
  • Korrio, with its Playflow sports automation platform, has partnered with Washington Premier F.C.
